What is ShopSe?

How will I pay my EMIs back?

Your EMIs will be part of your monthly credit card statement. You can continue paying for your credit card bills as you normally do.

My transaction is successful. When is my first EMI due?

Your first EMI will reflect in your next statement after making the purchase.

What if I forget or fail to pay my EMI on time?

If you do not pay your credit card bill on time, your card may get blocked. The bank will also apply additional charges for late fees. This will impact your bureau score negatively, hence it is advised to make timely payments of your credit card dues.

How does Credit Card EMI work?

You can now avail EMI using your Credit Cards. While the entire purchase amount gets blocked on your card, the bank o converts the transaction in EMIs as per your selected plan. You will be billed for the EMI in your monthly credit card statements. The bank will charge GST on the interest amount.

Are there any additional charges if I do not repay on time?

Yes. The bank will charge additional penalties in case the repayment is not made on time.

How long does it take for the EMI conversion?

EMI conversion is subject to approval from your bank. It usually takes 5-7 days for EMI conversion. For any further delay, please contact you bank.

Can my the EMI conversion of my transaction be declined?

Yes. The EMI conversion for your transaction may be declined by your bank because of one of the following reasons. Please note these are only indicative. 1. The card does not support EMI transactions. 2. You are using a corporate card/business card. 3. The tenure selected is not applicable for the purchase. Do reach out to you bank for further details.

My credit card statement has been generated and I have been charged the full EMI amount. What should I do?

This can happen if the bill got generated within 5-7 days of the transaction before it could be converted to EMI. In this case, once the EMI conversion happens, your bill amount will reduce. You will be required to pay only the EMI amount and not the total transaction amount
